About the Role

In this role, you will work at the intersection of data, business, and technology, with a primary focus on data quality and data management.

You will play an important part in ensuring that our data is accurate, complete, and reliable — a key foundation for reports, analytics, and strategic decision-making.

In addition, there may be opportunities to contribute to projects within Power BI, system testing, cloud migration, and the development of proof of concepts (PoC) or minimum viable products (MVP).

This position is well suited for a student who wants to combine technical skills with business understanding and who enjoys responsibility, precision, and working with large datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Work with data quality assurance across core systems
  • Perform data cleansing, mapping, and transformation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Improve and refine large datasets, including removing duplicates and correcting errors
  • Conduct regular data quality checks and develop routines for ongoing quality control
  • Identify, structure, and document what should be quality-checked and establish efficient procedures
  • Help optimize and automate processes related to data validation and control
  • Contribute to system testing and verification of data integrity during system or project changes
  • Opportunity to participate in Power BI, cloud migration, or technology development projects (PoC/MVP)
  • Collaborate closely with both the business and technology teams to ensure the best possible data foundation


Your Profile 

  • Student on 2 or 3 year within informatics, data science, business & technology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in data quality, data governance, and analytics
  • Basic experience with SQL, Excel, and Power BI (or similar tools)
  • Understanding of business processes and the role of data in decision-making
  • Interest in the banking, finance, or capital markets sector is an advantage
  • Highly accurate, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
  • Analytical and able to think both top-down and hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
  • Mature and responsible, with a strong sense of quality and ownership
