Are you ready to kick-start your career in Finance with us? We are currently seeking a part-time Student Analyst to assist our Equity Research team in Oslo!

We are looking for a motivated Student Analyst to join our Equity Research team on a part-time basis. We welcome applicants from all academic backgrounds and universities, but you must be based in Oslo and able to work from our office regularly. The position is expected to commence as soon as possible.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and capital markets while working alongside experienced professionals. As part of the leading independent Nordic investment bank, you will work closely with senior analysts and gain valuable exposure to institutional investors and company management teams. We are seeking an ambitious individual with a strong interest in equity markets and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Your primary tasks will include

  • Supporting the production and maintenance of company and sector reports, including updates related to earnings releases, initiations, and other corporate events.

  • Collect and analyse market, industry, and company information to support research conclusions and investment recommendations.

  • Financial modelling

  • Contribute to written reports, presentations, and other materials used by clients and internal stakeholders.

Candidate requirements

  • Analytical skills and some proficiency in financial modelling

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex material in an understandable manner

  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Most important is a happy and curious mindset, and a genuine interest in how companies work

  • You should thrive in a fast-moving organisation

  • You are based in Oslo or the surrounding area, as the position is on-site at our offices in VIA Vika

  • Proficiency in English and a Nordic language
